Today's events were a roaring success and a vote of thanks must go to all the organisers and workers who took part. A special thank you goes to the many residents and visitors who supported and gave to the fund by buying or generously donating.
The surgery at the village hall went down extremely well and those who attended will be much better informed about the aims of the SOS.
This was a real opportunity for some of us to get to know each other better and the growing sense of bonding as a community which resulted is very satisfying. It was nice to have Douglas Carswell MP visit the surgery and spend time bringing himself up to date with what is happening within the local area.
There will be more opportunities to engage with us and we were very pleased to have the support of so many young people who were taking a very keen interest in the problems facing their homestead.
